Cheongdam Korean BBQ - Seton: Authentic Korean BBQ Experience in Calgary

We tried this Korean BBQ spot and had a great experience! The selection of meats was generous, and the side dishes were well-balanced and tasty. The staff were friendly and quick to help whenever we needed something. The only minor issue was that the smoke vent above the grill seemed to lose a bit of suction later on, but it didn’t really affect the overall experience. Definitely a popular place worth trying!

We made a dinner reservation on a week day for a birthday celebration and we’re glad we did. The service was amazing, they accommodated well us and even offer to put the cake that we brought in to their freezer and even cut it for us. You don’t have to wait too long the moment you submit your order, and you actually get the quantity that you ordered, unlike other all you can eat places that if they feel you ordered too much, they will decide on how much to give you, but just be mindful that you will be charge if you have lots of left over. The place is also great, you can feel you have your own space unlike having that cramp vibe and the loud exhaust above your head. the food is not too much of a difference compare to other Korean places but the menu choices are decent enough to enjoy bbq experience. We enjoyed the side dishes and they also have menu for special orders that are not included in all you can eat order, most of them are Korean soups. So give this place a shot on your next bbq craving.

The service and food were both solid — everything came out fresh and tasty. The only downside was the meat quality; it wasn’t the best and could’ve used a bit more sauce. Still, it’s definitely a good Korean BBQ spot to check out if you’re in Calgary. Solid 4/5 from me.

This is my favorite Korean bbq place! Staff are really kind and neat qualities are sooooo good too! Price is really reasonable! Banchan are really good especially kimchi is so yay and crunch. I would like to come once a week!!

First time going. Experience was great until the two hour mark. Slow service, mixed up orders, lack of communication. It took 3 hours. Although you have a 2 hour time limit on the AYCE.. That must have accounted for fruit flies. Even though you have to cook your own food and summons someone through the app/tablet. Servers, bussers, etc would have a blank stare and keep on pass even though we know they had our attention. As a server dropped off our food I reordered another drink. He politely pointed to the tablet we used to order. Then I still waited more than a comfortable amount to get it. The app/tablet did nothing for our experience. Staff wasn't responding quick enough even for a grill change. Wife doesn't eat beef. I had Angus and wagu. In the end, it was disappointing. Great food and neat environment but needs refining.

We had a great time dining in this all you can eat korean bbq restaurant. The service was good and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The quality of meat is fine and average for the lunch buffet. They can add more meat choices especially beef, though they have another food package for unlimited premium which we will try next time. Overall, our family had a great time. Even the kids loved the tempura and other side dishes.
